We believe that John 3:16 is still true and relevant. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” We believe that Jesus asks us to build His kingdom, grow His Church, and preach the gospel message, not only locally, but globally.
Quincy Faith Community Church is a non-denominational church body, but we believe accountability and encouragement are important. FCC is a member of Minister’s Fellowship International which “exists to facilitate and nurture meaningful relationships among member ministers, equipping and enabling them to be more effective in their callings, for the purpose of building and multiplying strong local churches around the world”. We invite you to join us to celebrate what God is doing now and look forward to the future of God’s work in our church. We rejoice in God’s goodness, direction and purpose for His Church.
Faith Community Church was founded in 1990. On October 28th, Jesse and Lynn Slusher began serving the body as Lead Pastors. Initially, the church family met in a small storefront on 2nd Ave in Quincy. As God brought more people into the church, it outgrew that location. FCC went mobile and began meeting at the Pioneer School gymnasium. In 2008, by the grace of God, FCC broke ground on its building project in the midst of one of the greatest recessions our country had ever seen. Pastors Jesse and Lynn Slusher faithfully led the congregation for 32 years. They helped raise up many sons and daughters in the Lord, as well as raising four children. As God has led the church leadership, FCC has extend its reach globally, including Japan, Mexico, Pakistan, Philippines and Zimbabwe.
Locally, FCC is an advocate for unifying the Church in our valley and is committed to always honor, support and pray for local churches. During the 2020 pandemic, FCC supported Pastors David and Katie Kaylor and their team launch Hope Church in Wenatchee, Washington. In 2021, Pastors Jesse and Lynn, along with the Elders, felt it was time to seek God for the next generation of Lead Pastors. After an unanimous church membership vote, on September 18, 2022, Faith Community Church leaders and church family set in Kyle and Melodi Slusher as Lead Pastors. Pastors Jesse and Lynn continue to faithfully serve in the role as Associate Pastors.
